Motherhood has added all the more glow and charm to an already charming Aishwarya Rai as could be witnessed during L’Oreal-Paris Femina Women Awards 2012 on Thursday night. Accompanied by mother Vrinda Rai, Aishwarya graced the function to accept the ‘Woman of Worth’ award at the gala event.
Aishwarya has been closely associated with Femina for years and is also the brand ambassador of L’Oreal. The function was brimming many glamorous, powerful, influential Indian women, but Ash clearly stole the limelight looking breathtakingly beautiful in a simple, ethnic, multicolored churidaar-suit. She opted for a Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla Georgette Sherwani which was accented with neon colored chamois satin strips. The long sleeve top featured a V neckline and front button detailing. She paired it with churidar and stole in colors matching the sherwani. She accessorized with Armani T-strap nude satin heels, oval diamond hoop earrings and an exquisite ring in her right hand ring finger.
The 38-year-old actress was honored with “The Iconic Woman of Worth” Award, presented by Nathalie Gerschtein, Director, L’Oreal Paris. Aishwarya honored her mother on stage with a special ‘She’s Worth it Award,’ as the one person who has inspired her through her life and the one person Aishwarya has always aspired to be!
“She is the nucleus of my existence; who has gently molded me, shaped me, picked me up when I’ve been down, has faith in me and taught me to be the very best version of me that i can be,” Aishwarya added.
